Neil Shi

Neil Shi is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in digital cinema and hardware design. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at RED Digital Cinema since September 2019, Neil specializes in video processing development for industry-leading cinema cameras, including the Komodo 6K and V-Raptor 8K. Previously, Neil worked at Blackmagic Design as a Hardware Engineer for over seven years, focusing on the design of 8K/4K broadcasting live production switchers and high-speed video processing. Prior experience includes roles at NVIDIA as a Senior ASIC Engineer, contributing to display and SOC designs, and at OmniVision as an ASIC Design Engineer, involved in audio and sensor projects. Neil Shi holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University.
