Malia Vassar has extensive experience in the real estate and ballet instruction sectors. Currently serving as Managing Broker and Principal Agent at Redfin since 2017, Malia has achieved remarkable success, overseeing over $145 million in luxury homes sold. Previous roles at Redfin included Principal Agent, where recognition included the Centurion 200 Award, and Senior Agent, earning the Presidents Club status and Centurion Award. Malia has also contributed to the Pacific Northwest Ballet as a Classical Ballet Instructor and held positions as a Closing Agent at Eastside Funding and in Real Estate Foreclosure, Auction, and Investment Services at Vestus. Earlier experience includes roles as a REALTOR® at Keller Williams Realty, Relocation Specialist at CORT Business Services, Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington, and Program Coordinator at AmeriCorps. Malia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Washington State University and has further education in ballet from the American Ballet Theatre, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Clark College, and Rockwell Institute.
