Iftikhar Khan

Iftikhar Khan is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in software engineering and network architecture, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Red Hat since June 2010. In this role, Iftikhar leads multiple global teams focused on critical components of the Ansible Automation Platform, overseeing areas including Ansible Controller, Core, and Cloud Services. Prior to this position, Iftikhar managed various teams within Red Hat, contributing to the development of Network, Security, and Cloud automation features. Experience also includes a tenure at SCANA as a Network Engineer IV and as a contractor at the NCR Education Center. Iftikhar holds an MBA from Colorado State University and has recently completed a professional education program at MIT.
