Vagner Farias

Vagner Farias is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cloud, virtualization, and data center solutions. Currently serving as a Principal Specialist Solution Architect at Red Hat since July 2010, Vagner has worked extensively on cloud and virtualization projects throughout the Latin America region. Previous roles include Senior Cloud Domain Architect and Data Center Technology Specialist at Novell, where Vagner focused on mission-critical workloads and next-generation data center solutions. Earlier experience includes project management at Mandriva Conectiva and Conectiva S.A., overseeing large-scale projects and contributing to technical analysis and solution design based on Free and Open Source Software. Vagner holds an MBA in Strategic & Economic Business Management from FGV and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Universidade Paulista.
