Antonio Salerno is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in public market active ownership and constructive activism. Currently serving as a Partner at Redwheel since October 2012, Salerno focuses on the Redwheel European Focus Fund. Previously, Salerno held the position of Independent Member of the Board of Directors at Italmobiliare SpA from April 2017 to January 2021, contributing to the governance of the Milan-based investment holding company. Prior to these roles, Salerno worked as an Investment Manager for Hermes European Focus Fund at Federated Hermes Limited from July 2005 to October 2012. Early career experience includes consultancy roles with Deminor in both Italia and International. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in International Finance from the University of Amsterdam, a Summer School program in Financial Markets and Valuation at The London School of Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Banking from Università di Siena.
