Daniel Wilde

Daniel Wilde is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and energy industries. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Redwood Materials since November 2021, Daniel has progressed through various engineering roles in this organization. Previous roles include Thermal Engineering and Analysis Lead and Thermal Responsible Engineer at Firefly Aerospace from January 2020 to November 2021. Prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer at IMES Group, LLC and as a Sr. Factory Systems Engineer at Tesla, among other positions, has contributed to a strong foundation in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and mechanical design. Daniel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where research focused on advanced CFD methods and heat transfer validation for gas turbine cooling technology.
