Kent Messer

Kent Messer is an experienced educator and administrator, currently serving as the Program Coordinator for Administrative Services at Region 10 ESC since October 2021 and as an Adjunct Professor of Qualitative Research at the American College of Education since September 2019. Previously, Kent held various leadership roles at Lovejoy ISD, including Human Resources Director and Principal, where responsibilities included staff recruitment, development, and fiscal management. Additional experience includes teaching and coaching at Highland Park ISD, Plano ISD, and Rio Rancho Public Schools, focusing on implementing research-based instructional strategies. Kent holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from The University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Secondary Education from Emporia State University.
