Jamie Suarez

Jamie Suarez was promoted to Senior Vice President, Merchandising & Education in February 2022. With 25 years of combined beauty industry operations and education experience, he excels at coaching and mentoring stylists, as well as partnering cross-functionally to create integrated multi-department strategies. Jamie is charged with ongoing partnerships with distributors and vendors, testing and choosing retail and back bar assortments, and collaborating with internal and external partners. He creates and executes merchandising strategies that support all Regis salon brands in addition to leading technical education.

As Vice President of Education, Jamie and his team created The Education Playground, an innovative education application built from the ground up to enable the ongoing delivery of digital education to over 30,000 stylists across North America. He leads the Technical Education Teams responsible for stylist technical development programs, including a Train-the-Trainer program. As a District Supervisor of Operations and Artistic Director, Jamie led multi-unit operations, specializing in the transition of acquired salon groups, and created operational plans to drive increased revenue and profitability. Jamie sets salons up for growth by quickly identifying business opportunities and challenges to create effective action plans. He joined Regis in 1997.

Jamie enjoys serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Empire Beauty Schools, where he assists in student education, supports the entry of new talent into the industry, and shares successful hiring practices with franchisees.

Jamie is a licensed cosmetologist and has received numerous accolades for his editorial work and public speaking.
