Renaissance Fusion
Reinis Baranovskis is an experienced experimental physicist currently working as a liquid metal experimentalist at Renaissance Fusion since February 2023, focusing on the development of liquid metal walls for fusion reactors. Prior to this role, Reinis spent nearly eight years at the Institute of Physics of the University of Latvia as a researcher in the MHD Technology Laboratory, specializing in magnetohydrodynamics research with liquid metals and exploring various aspects such as permanent magnet systems, metal alloy crystallization, and neutron radiography. Reinis holds a PhD in Physics, a Master's degree in Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, all from Latvijas Universitate, completed between 2014 and 2022.
