Takeshi Kataoka

Kataoka Takeshi has extensive experience in the automotive solutions sector, serving at Renesas Electronics since April 2003 and currently holding the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Automotive Solution Business Unit, overseeing Automotive Business. Previous roles include Deputy General Manager and Vice President responsible for Automotive MCU, SoC businesses, and core technology, as well as leadership at the Musashi site. Kataoka's career milestones encompass various management positions focusing on strategy, development, and customer relations within the automotive industry. Prior to Renesas, Kataoka spent a decade at Hitachi in the Semiconductor Business Division, starting as an engineer and advancing to Senior Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from Stanford University and two degrees in Applied Physics from The University of Tokyo.
