Talha Azfar

Talha Azfar currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, starting in August 2023. Previously, Talha worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso from January 2022 to September 2023, and as a Junior Engineer for a government entity from November 2016 to July 2019, focusing on the design, review, and documentation of Instrumentation and Control systems. An early career included an internship at RIMMS NUST in July 2013. Talha is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2023-2026) after obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso (2022-2023). Earlier educational achievements include a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) (2010-2014).
