Carlos Rodriguez Fernandez

Carlos Rodriguez Fernandez has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily with Repsol since July 2007, where Carlos currently serves as the Purchasing and Contracting Team Lead for the Reggane Development Project in Algeria. Previous roles include Global Category Manager for Drilling & Completion, managing procurement processes and contracts globally, and leading projects such as the Illizi Exploration project. Carlos has a strong background in contract management, logistical coordination, and drilling supervision, having started as a Drilling Engineer/Night Drilling Supervisor. Earlier experience includes internships at CEPSA and Endesa, and Carlos holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production and a Bachelor of Laws.
