Alex Black is a legal professional with extensive experience in public service and strategic management. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Resource Innovations since July 2023, Alex previously held various roles at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from December 2016 to June 2023, including Attorney and Special Assistant to the State's Attorney. Prior to this, Alex worked in performance management and strategic initiatives at the Cook County Department of Homeland Security from August 2015 to November 2016, and as an Aide to the Chief of Staff at Cook County Government from March 2014 to August 2015. Alex holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from DePaul University.
