Damian Ostrander has extensive work experience in the retail and software industries. Damian is currently the Director of Cloud Services at RFD & Associates, Inc. since December 2020. Previously, Damian held various roles at Aptos Retail from 2016 to 2020, including Director of Professional Services and Senior Manager of Professional Services. During their time at Aptos Retail, they oversaw global Technical Services and the delivery of the Aptos ONE platform. Damian also built implementation teams, processes, and methodologies for Aptos ONE. Prior to Aptos Retail, Damian worked at Epicor Software Corp from 2008 to 2016, where they held positions such as Manager of Professional Services and Principal Consultant for Technical Services. Their responsibilities included staff management, pre-sales, project management, and deployment of retail POS solutions. Damian began their career at CRS Retail Systems in 1999, serving as a Consultant for Technical Services and later as a Quality Assurance Software Engineer.
Damian Ostrander earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Marist College, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In terms of certifications, Damian has obtained several accreditations from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Partner accreditation in both Business and Technical, which they obtained in August 2021. Damian has also achieved the Dynatrace Associate certification from Dynatrace, obtained in December 2021. In addition, Damian holds various AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, which they obtained in November 2020.
