Anne Bechard has extensive experience in library management and community engagement, currently serving as the Manager of Community Engagement at Richmond Public Library since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading the Community Engagement Team, overseeing marketing initiatives, and managing fund development. Previously, positions at Richmond Public Library included Coordinator of Community Services and Head of Digital Services. Prior to this, Anne worked at Edmonton Public Library and Vancouver Public Library, gaining experience in community consultation and youth services. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Library Science from the University of British Columbia, a certificate in Public Library Leadership from the University of Toronto, and management training from Royal Roads University.
