Andreas Binner has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Andreas is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Rightware since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Digital Solutions at PolyTech Wind Power Technology Germany GmbH from March 2021 to September 2022. From October 2019 to March 2021, they served as the Head of Technology at TWAICE.

Before that, Andreas held various positions at OSRAM, including Director System Architecture Connected Systems from April 2019 to September 2019, and Director Global Technology Scouting from May 2017 to March 2019. Andreas was also the Senior Manager Research and Head of Munich Office at Novero - a Laird Business from January 2015 to December 2016.

Andreas has also worked at Elektrobit Automotive GmbH as the Head of Technology & Innovation, Driver Assistance from February 2014 to December 2014, and as a Senior Software Architect, Driver Assistance from May 2011 to February 2014. Andreas started their career at BMW AG as a Software Architect Infotainment from June 2009 to May 2011.

Prior to their roles in the automotive industry, Andreas served as the Head of Media Core Software at Micronas from January 2003 to April 2009. Andreas also worked at VMLabs Inc. as the Director System Architecture from December 1997 to September 2002, where they led firmware development for the NUON multimedia VLIW/RISC processor and system architecture for NUON OS.

Andreas began their career as a Software Engineer at Softing in 1996.

Andreas Binner earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they studied from 1990 to 1996.
