Ring Therapeutics
Jenna A. is a Senior Scientist at Ring Therapeutics since December 2021, where work focuses on assessing the intracellular effects and efficacy of Anellovirus-based genetic medicine, building on expertise in virology and single-cell sequencing. Prior to this role, Jenna served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2018 to December 2021, developing human stem-cell based tissue models to study neurotropic viral infections and enhance clinical therapeutic development. Jenna completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology at The Ohio State University from 2013 to 2018, where dissertation research centered on the interaction between HIV-1 and the host restriction factor SAMHD1, contributing valuable insights to the field. An earlier Bachelor of Science in Biology was earned at Suffolk University from 2011 to 2013.
