Sean McLaughlin

Sean McLaughlin is a seasoned 3D animation professional with extensive experience in both academia and the industry. Since August 2007, Sean has served as a Professor of 3D Animation at Ringling College of Art and Design, teaching students from sophomore to senior levels. Prior to this role, Sean worked as a 3D Animator at Tantrum Studio, contributing to the Clio Award-winning campaign "This Job Can Break You If You Let It" for NABS, as well as projects for major brands like Kellogg's and Pillsbury. Other notable positions include 3D Character Animator at Bluepoint Games, Freelance Animator roles at Republic Studios, Moonbot Studios, and Reel FX, and an Online Animation Mentor at Animation Mentor, while also being a character animator at DreamWorks Animation for over a decade. Sean holds a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design.
