Matt Wickham

Matt Wickham has extensive experience in the mining and minerals sector, currently serving as the RTSPS IO Stream Lead at Rio Tinto since January 2010. Throughout various roles, including SPS Stream Lead PMO Control, Performance Assurance Advisor, and Controller of Fixed Plant Operations, Matt has been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and safety through the implementation of new practices and performance improvement initiatives. Previous positions at Rio Tinto included GBO Shutdown Coordinator for electrical operations and various electrical maintainer roles, contributing to the safe and efficient maintenance of fixed plant infrastructure. Prior to Rio Tinto, Matt completed an apprenticeship as an electrician with Tiwest, gaining foundational skills in plant maintenance and instrumentation. Matt's educational background includes attendance at Guildford Grammar School from 2000 to 2004.
