Steve Yates

Steve Yates has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the energy and chemical sectors. Currently serving as a Field Engineer at Riot Blockchain, Inc. since August 2022, Yates has held previous positions as a Technical Engineering Consultant at CT Turbinas and a Senior Project Manager at EDG International. At EDG International, responsibilities included managing EPC projects related to chemical facilities producing NH3 and UREA. Yates has also consulted for DERWICK ASSOCIATES DE VENEZUELA on a turbine project and worked as a Project Manager at Proenergy Services, overseeing full-cycle project management. Earlier in their career, Yates managed power plant projects at Wood Group. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Pittsburgh State University and specialized training from IMO Marine.
