David Edwards has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Web Developer for Business Systems Group before transitioning to the role of Software Engineer at lastminute.com in 2002. David then progressed to become a Technical Team Lead at lastminute.com and later at Sabre Corporation, where they led the creation of a global hotels platform. David also worked as an Application Architect at Javelin Group, where they implemented eCommerce solutions for retail clients. David then joined Accenture as a Senior Solutions Architect, focusing on project delivery, consulting, and pre-sales. Most recently, David held various leadership positions at River Island, including Principal Solution Architect and Head of Architecture, where they were responsible for technology and digital transformation initiatives. David played a key role in building high-performing teams and implementing modern technologies, such as microservices and cloud-native services. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated proficiency in data architecture, modern data platforms, and DevOps practices.
From 1997 to 2000, David Edwards attended Goldsmiths, University of London, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
