Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Engineering and Technology Transformation at Riverbed, CTO and VP of Mitel Innovation Labs, and CEO of Qovia, where Richard guided the company to a successful acquisition by Cisco. Richard has also held senior positions at Nortel Networks, ZebraPass, Merant, Infodata, and Merex, developing strategic technology initiatives and innovative products throughout their career. With a strong educational background in Nuclear Engineering and Mathematics, Richard is a recipient of over 20 industry awards and holds multiple telecommunications technology patents.
