Mike Johnson has a long and varied work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Mike currently holds the position of CISO at Rivian since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Co-Host at CISO/Security Vendor Relationship Series starting in October 2018. Mike also served as an Advisor at Elevate Security from May 2019 onwards. Mike has played key leadership roles in several other companies as well, including Fastly, where they were the CISO from October 2019 to April 2023, and Lyft, where they held the same position from July 2017 to February 2019. Mike also worked in senior management positions at Salesforce, Ingersoll Rand, Oculan Inc, and iSun Networks, gaining valuable experience in various roles within the cybersecurity field.
Mike Johnson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. Mike attended the university from 1991 to 1996.
