Tim Marshall is the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor Design, Social Context & VP at RMIT University. Prior to this, they were the Senior Advisor to the President at The New School from December 2003 to January 2021. From January 1991 to December 2003, they were the Chair of the School of Design at the University of Western Sydney.

They work with Sherman Young - Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education & VP, Peter Coloe - Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global Development & VP, and Aleksandar Subic - Deputy Vice-Chancellor of STEM College & VP Digital Innovation. Tim Marshall reports to Martin Bean, Vice-Chancellor & President.
