Puja Kumari

Puja Kumari is an experienced water resources professional with a strong background in project management and hydrological modeling, currently serving as an Assistant Technical Specialist at RMSI since June 2018. Puja's expertise encompasses flood risk assessment, climate change impact assessment, and advanced hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and MIKE. Previous roles include Senior Water Resources Engineer and Water Resources Engineer, focused on flood modeling, floodplain mapping, and the development of strategies for flood mitigation. Educational qualifications include an Integrated M.Tech in Water Engineering and Management from the Central University of Jharkhand, complemented by internships and training experiences in flood forecasting and watershed management.
