RNOB
René Peerenboom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and organizational development across various sectors. Currently serving as Regiomanager and directeur-secretaris at RNOB since May 2018, René oversees regional collaborations among 11 municipalities and 2 water authorities in Noordoost-Brabant, addressing complex societal challenges related to mobility, economy, nature, climate, housing, space, and agriculture. In addition, René fulfills roles as independent chairperson for the Regional Consultation Committee of Teuge Airport and as process facilitator for the community consultation regarding Gilze-Rijen Airport. Previously, René held the position of statutory director at AgriFood Capital from November 2023 to March 2024, served as a municipal executive for the Municipality of Uden from 2006 to 2018, and held various advisory and managerial roles in organizations such as CZ and Thuiszorg Brabant Noord-Oost. René's academic background includes a post-doctoral degree in Operational Auditing from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master’s degree in Juridische bestuurswetenschappen from Tilburg University.
