Chip Duffield has a diverse work experience in software engineering and aviation. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Lead Flight Instructor at FIT Aviation LLC. Chip then transitioned to become a First Officer at ExpressJet Airlines in 2012. In 2015, Chip joined Daugherty Business Solutions as a Software Engineer before moving on to work at National Comfort Institute in 2016 as a Software Developer. Chip then worked at Revenue Analytics, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they built analytical tools and supported a cloud-based Big Data Analytics platform. Chip then joined The Home Depot as a Sr Software Engineer in 2018 and later became a Software Engineer Team Lead at Navistar Inc in 2019. In 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer Consultant at Third Eye Software. Most recently, Chip has been working at The Home Depot as a Senior Software Engineer. In the future, they will be joining Roark Capital in 2023 as a Principal Software Engineer.
Chip Duffield attended Auburn University and obtained a degree in Finance in 2009.
