Technical Project Lead at Robovision

Bert Mortier has a diverse work experience. They currently work as a Machine Learning Engineer at Robovision since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven. As a Teaching Assistant, Bert was responsible for teaching software-simulation courses and delivering lectures on support vector machines for machine learning. In their role as a Researcher PHD Student, they developed efficient simulation algorithms for kinetic equations, with a focus on neutrals in nuclear fusion. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven, completing their studies in 2013.
