Colin Allen Am

Colin Allen AM is a distinguished leader in the field of Deaf studies and advocacy, currently serving as the Director at the Rochester Institute of Technology, overseeing international leadership and management training projects for Deaf communities in Cambodia and Rwanda. With a robust background in program coordination, Colin is also the Program Coordinator for the Certificate in International Sign Interpreting and the Study Abroad in Croatia initiative. Additionally, Colin is actively involved in various voluntary roles, including as an International Ambassador for DeafKidz International and a Global Ambassador for the World Federation of the Deaf. With extensive experience in organizational development, human rights, and community engagement, Colin has held significant positions such as President of the World Federation of the Deaf and Chair of the International Disability Alliance. Colin holds a Master of Science in Professional Studies from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Community Organisations from the University of Technology Sydney.
