Lars Kirvan

Lars Kirvan is an accomplished cellist with extensive experience in prestigious orchestras. Since August 2015, Lars has served as the Assistant Principal Cello for the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra. In addition to this role, Lars has been a member of the World Orchestra for Peace since 2012 and performs with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra since 2008. Previous positions include cellist with the Fondation du Festival et Academie de Verbier from 2006 to 2008, the New World Symphony from 2003 to 2007, and the Canton Symphony Orchestra from 2000 to 2003. Lars holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music, earned from 1998 to 2003.
