Ben Tao

Ben Tao serves as the Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management for Software & Control at Rockwell Automation since July 2021. In addition to this role, Ben has been a Board Member and President of NECINA since June 2014. Prior experience includes working as a Partner at Momenta Partners / Ventures from April 2020 to July 2021, and serving as Vice President of Corporate Development at Parametric Technology Corporation from 2010 to April 2020. Ben's earlier career features positions as Senior Manager at PRTM from 2004 to 2010, Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle from 1999 to 2004, Software Engineer at Microsoft Corporation in 1998, and Software Engineer at Ericsson in 1997. Academically, Ben holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Babson College, an MS in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, pursued a Ph.D. Program in Computer Sciences at Duke University, and obtained a BS in Computer Sciences from Peking University.
