Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania is dedicated to providing a ‘home away from home’ for families with a seriously ill child undergoing specialist paediatric medical and surgical care. In 2017, we provided 1,973 families with accommodation near a hospital, to enable them to stay as close as possible to their seriously ill child. Many of our families stay with us time and time again, and last year alone we provided these families with 27,624 nights of accommodation.
