Thiru Dinesh

Thiru Dinesh currently serves as the Head of AI at Rootcode since August 2019, where responsibilities involve building and managing a team of data scientists and ML engineers, overseeing the data science project lifecycle, engaging in AI research and development, and designing machine learning systems. In addition to this role, Thiru has been a visiting lecturer at SLIIT since January 2023, teaching the MSc module on "Fundamentals of Cognitive Computing" and developing course materials. Prior experience includes a freelance role as an Android App Developer and earlier positions in data science leadership at Rootcode. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Enterprise Application Development from SLIIT, along with various diplomas and certifications from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
