Prior to this role, Shantanu held the position of CEO at Premco Global Ltd from July 2016 to June 2018, and served as Business Head at Mafatlal Global Apparel Ltd from September 2008 to June 2016. Earlier in the career, Shantanu was General Manager at Freshtex Bangalore Pvt Ltd from September 2004 to August 2008 and Business Head for International Business at Resil Chemicals Pvt. Ltd from May 1999 to August 2004. Educationally, Shantanu earned a Bachelor's Degree in Textile Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from St. Anthony's College, Shillong, complemented by a high school education at Laban Bengalee Boys High School.
