Peter Sävelin began their professional career in 1984 as a process operator at Korsnäs AB. Peter rose through the ranks over the next 26 years, eventually becoming Manager of Fiberlines and Woodyard in 1990. In 2012, they left Korsnäs to join BillerudKorsnäs as a Senior Technology Specialist. Peter remained with BillerudKorsnäs until December of 2019, when they were appointed COO of Rottneros.
Peter Sävelin has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Peter also has a Manager and leadership program from Mgruppen Svenska Managementgruppen AB, and they attended Polhemskolan Gävle.
