Timo Pietilä has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Timo worked at Rovio Entertainment Corporation for a total of 8 years, starting as an Ad Trafficker, then moving up to roles such as Developer Advocate, Product Lead, Senior Product Lead, Senior Product Manager, and finally as Executive Producer and Game Lead for Angry Birds Journey. In their various positions, Timo was responsible for driving product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, as well as consulting on improving game performance and utilizing Beacon services. Before Rovio, Timo co-founded and served as the Chief Product Officer at ResponsiveAds, Inc. and Zonear Oy, where they held the roles of CEO and Co-founder. Timo was also a Producer at Zonear / Protomo and Colossal Order, and a Concept Designer at Local Buddy / Demola.
Timo Pietilä attended Tampere University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2009. Timo obtained a degree in Media, specializing in the production of interactive media.
