Andrew Clark

Andrew Clark has extensive experience in research management and programme development, currently serving as Executive Director for both Product and Programmes at the Royal Academy of Engineering since October 2016. In this role, Andrew oversees the Research programme and manages the funding relationship with the government. Prior to this, Andrew held positions at UCL from January 2008 to October 2016, including Director of Research Planning, where responsibilities included the development and evaluation of UCL's research strategy, and Principal Research Facilitator for the BEAMS School, focusing on coordinating research funding across multiple faculties. Andrew's career also includes a role as Associate Programme Manager for Medical Engineering at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council from March 2003 to January 2008. Andrew holds a degree from the University of Oxford, completed in 2003.
