Deepak Prasad

Deepak Prasad, M.O.M., has extensive experience within law enforcement and community service, notably serving as the Warrant Officer and Staff Sergeant Major for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police since December 2009. In various roles, Deepak has led initiatives in street crime enforcement, community action response, and victim services, while also overseeing performance management and collaboration with partner organizations. Additionally, Deepak contributes to several community and professional development initiatives, including serving as a Public Representative for the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists and Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, and mentoring graduate students at Dalhousie University. Currently pursuing advanced academic qualifications, Deepak's commitment to public safety, mental health awareness, and community welfare is evident through dynamic leadership roles and participation in significant committees.
