Colin Christy

Colin Christy is an experienced industrial designer currently working at Ruggable since August 2021. Previously, Colin served as a brand strategist at Dough Pizza, where responsibilities included developing brand identity and facilitating design sprints. At Off the Grid, as the human factors lead, Colin specialized in strategic innovation and industrial design for corporate catering, primarily for Google. Other roles included organizing exhibitions at If/Then Studio, mentoring undergraduates as a teaching assistant at California College of the Arts, and founding Hapa Inaba Designs, a custom furniture and housewares company. Colin's background also encompasses design research for community projects with EBALDC and guest services management for luxury travel at GeoEx. Educational credentials include a Master's in Design from California College of the Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Washington University in St. Louis.
