James Long

James Long, III is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project delivery and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Project Delivery Leader at RK&K since May 2016, James has held various leadership roles including Project Delivery Leader and Project Manager for transportation projects. Prior to RK&K, James was the District Project Delivery Director at the Virginia Department of Transportation, overseeing the HRTAC program. Additionally, James served as Chief Engineer for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel District and held multiple engineering and management positions at VDOT, Collins Engineers, Northrop Grumman, and Parsons Brinckerhoff. Educational qualifications include an MBA from William & Mary, an MSCE from the University of Connecticut, and a BSCE from the University of Hartford.
