Jenny Blase

Jenny Blase is a highly experienced data scientist with a robust background in epidemiology and machine learning. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Ruvos since January 2022, Jenny leads the development of compartmental models for respiratory and vector-borne diseases in collaboration with the World Health Organization Pandemic Hub. Previous experience includes managing end-to-end projects at Qntfy, where Jenny enhanced social media engagement for a presidential foundation and a nationwide non-profit focused on veteran mental health. Jenny's earlier roles also included data science internships and positions at Roche Molecular Systems, Anthem, Inc., the American Cancer Society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Kentucky Department for Public Health, demonstrating a strong foundation in analyzing public health data and developing predictive models. Jenny holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University, alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design from Georgia State University.
