Catherine Greene is an experienced design professional with a focus on user-centred design and innovation. Currently serving as the Head of User Centred Design at Satellite Applications Catapult since July 2019, Catherine leads projects that leverage satellite technologies to tackle societal challenges such as climate change and healthcare. Prior roles include Art Director at WORKTECH Academy and Design Consultant for GEDS and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where Catherine contributed to significant projects involving smart textiles and patient care pathways. Catherine began her career as a Senior Associate at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design, engaging with major technology companies on how mobile technology impacts communities. Catherine holds an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the National College of Art and Design, Ireland.
