Surya Kannapiran is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer I at Chargebee since October 2021, where responsibilities include software development and engineering leadership. Prior experience includes roles at Ericsson IoT, where Surya contributed to the IoT Accelerator Device Management Platform through the development of an Asynchronous Messaging microservice, and at Aricent, focusing on design tools for Optical Transport Networks and solutions for Juniper's Security product. Earlier career stages involved project work at Wipro, supporting Ericsson and Fujitsu Network Communications, as well as an internship at NEC Corporation analyzing Wi-Fi Direct Architecture. Surya holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from SRM IST Chennai. Currently, Surya is also a volunteer at SaaSBoomi.
