Mohammad Farooq Fareed

Mohammad Farooq Fareed is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in process safety, sustainability, and project engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Process Engineer at SABIC since September 2014, Mohammad has also held positions as Senior Process Engineer and Process Engineer within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Jacobs Engineering, where work involved a sour water stripper project, and a brief tenure at JGC Descon in a design capacity for British Petroleum Pakistan. Mohammad began his career at Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited, the largest refinery in Pakistan, as a Process and Operation Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Chemical, Process, Energy and Environment from the University of Calgary, and prior degrees in Chemical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and Dawood College of Engineering & Technology.
