Chelvanaya Gabriel currently serves as the Laboratory Manager at SafeTiva Labs since November 2022. Previously, Chelvanaya held the position of Lab Manager/Greenhouse Supervisor at Hampshire College from December 2004 to January 2023 and worked as an Acquisition Editor at Westry Wingate Group from 2010 to 2022. Chelvanaya started their scientific career as an Assistant Scientist I at Pfizer in a medicinal chemistry lab, focusing on chemical compounds related to organ transplant rejection and asthma from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Chelvanaya participated in summer internships as a UNCF-Merck Scholar at Merck Research Laboratories in 1996 and 1997. Chelvanaya holds a B.A. in Chemistry/Asian Studies from Mount Holyoke College, earned in 1997.
