Jonathan Cleaver

Jonathan Cleaver is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering, project management, and site reliability engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Services Engineering and Operations at Sage, Jonathan has successfully built and managed multiple teams to enhance the performance and scalability of flagship SaaS Accounting, Payroll, and HR platforms. Jonathan’s proactive approach has significantly reduced performance-related outages to nearly zero. Prior roles include Project Manager and Software Developer at Newman Online Ltd, where Jonathan led a development team in creating a multi-channel ticketing solution, and Web Systems Developer at Serco Defence and Aerospace, where innovative web solutions were developed for various departments. Jonathan's educational background includes two Master's degrees in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Leeds and Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
