Saqib Ali

Saqib Ali has a diverse work experience in the field of analytics and data analysis. Saqib started their career at Seagate Technology as a Staff Engineer, where they led projects related to consumer identity and access management and significantly increased product registrations. Saqib then transitioned to the role of Staff Analyst, supporting the EMEA Sales team and Global Marketing with data analysis and dashboard creation. Saqib later joined HiveMined as a Data Analyst, where they designed and developed workflows for NLP-based text extraction and performed real-time Twitter stream analysis for job postings. Most recently, Saqib worked at Cohesity as a Data Integration Analyst, building Tableau dashboards and data pipelines for various data sources. In this role, they also implemented a data vault 2.0 based data warehouse and used Matillion for Salesforce and Netsuite data pipelines. Currently, Saqib is working as a Lead Analytics Engineer at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Saqib Ali holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, which was earned between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, Saqib obtained a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics from Penn State University between 2018 and 2019. Saqib also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, which was acquired from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Saqib Ali has obtained a certification as a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner (Legacy) from the Data Vault Alliance in an unspecified year.
