Ben Critchley serves as General Counsel and Head of Legal at Seaborg Technologies since April 2022. Prior roles include General Counsel at Maersk Decom from November 2018 to March 2022, Senior Legal Counsel at Maersk Drilling from August 2016 to October 2018, and Senior Legal Counsel at DONG Energy from September 2012 to August 2016. Ben Critchley began a legal career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where the positions held included Senior Associate and Trainee Solicitor from August 2004 to August 2012. Previously, Ben Critchley worked as a Diplomat for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from September 1997 to August 2002. Educational qualifications comprise an LPC from BPP Law School (2003-2004), a CPE from City, University of London (2002-2003), and a MA in Languages (Interpreting and Translating) with a focus on German and Russian from Heriot-Watt University (1992-1996).
