Peder Norborg is an experienced executive in the maritime and offshore industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, EVP Partnering, Chief Product Officer, Chief Technical Officer, and Chief Business Officer at Seaborg Technologies since August 2019. Prior roles include Project Director at Maersk Drilling from August 2013 to July 2019, where responsibilities included managing major offshore rig projects such as the Maersk Inspirer and overseeing the newbuilding of advanced jack-up drilling rigs valued at USD 2.6 billion. From January 2008 to July 2013, Peder Norborg held the position of General Manager and Head of Newbuilding at Clipper Group, leading a technical newbuilding department responsible for various vessel projects across multiple countries. Earlier experience includes roles as a Naval Architect and Project Manager at Maersk Contractors and A.P. Moller - Maersk, focusing on naval architecture and overseeing newbuilding projects for various vessel types. Peder Norborg holds a B.Sc. in Naval Architecture from the Technical University of Denmark, obtained in 1997.
