Kisuk Chung

Kisuk Chung is a seasoned professional in energy solution technology development, currently serving as Vice President at 삼성물산 건설부문 since October 2022, focusing on hydrogen, renewable energy, energy storage, and transmission. Prior to this role, Kisuk Chung was the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Program Director at the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning from July 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included planning government-funded hydrogen and fuel cell research. Kisuk Chung also held the position of Director at POSCO ENERGY from February 2007 to June 2019, overseeing fuel cell business development, and previously worked at POSCO as a Manager in new business development for fuel cells and at Samsung Electronics in new device development for DRAM and Flash. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology, completed between 1991 and 2003.
